When building my portfolio website hosted on GitHub Pages, I faced a common limitation: static websites cannot process backend form submissions.

  1. Created a Lambda function using Node.js 18.

  3. Created an HTTP API Gateway with CORS enabled.
  4. Integrated Lambda with API Gateway.
  5. Verified sender email in Amazon SES.
  6. Connected frontend form using JavaScript fetch().
